What SoUrban Does

 

 

SoUrban is unique because it is a one-stop service where everything from the initial design to the final detail, including all associated building works, is taken care of by us. We offer a personal service with our designer on site during the build and on the phone, to go through any questions during the process. As we are the designers and builders, there won't be that 'all too common' issue of who's fault a problem may be and who's going to deal with it with, in the end, you having to step in and have stressful discussions with the work men....we deal with it....leaving you to get on with your life. Many of our completed projects have been featured in interiors magazines. Our package includes plans and 3D images via email.

 

Method

 

A free initial meeting with an open discussion about your needs, which will not be rushed, will take place. Depending on your needs a further meeting can be arranged or a quote will be sent after a few days. After you receive your design we can further decide on what to change, if needed, or we simply book in a start date, with a small deposit taken, to secure this! Up to the time we actually buy materials there is scope to change the design (within reason!). Even during the installation or build if we are able to adjust the design we will! For example a wall can be placed slightly away from the original location if we haven't started on it yet. Throughout the build, we will endeavour to talk to you if we feel there is a better option that we hadn't thought about before or if something works better at the build stage where on paper it seemed OK.....in essence we provide a very personal service..... a chat about progress over a coffee, at the many excellent local cafes, is quite normal at So Urban Design..... SoUrban can revolutionise your outdoor space - either with a total redesign or working with what you already have. Whether you want a modern urban paradise with an individual edge or a traditional and tranquil haven SoUrban can realise it from the hard landscaping (walls,decking,water features etc) to the planting and final touches like lighting. We are particularly experienced at coastal planting and terraced gardens (..quite a few around here!).

 

Kitchens and bathrooms

 

Whether you want a stylish cosmetic makeover or a complete redesign from scratch SoUrban can do the whole job. From family kitchens to minimalist wetrooms we can create your dream room. Our speciality is creating spaces with the designer wow factor but with a realistic price tag. We supply and fit designer brands or more economical units to fit your budget or even build bespoke as needed.

 

Building

 

Although design led, we offer full building services including all the usual trades, plumbing, electrics and plastering. So, if you need walls taken down for that open plan space or sliding doors to the garden, we have plenty of experience.
